Finland Is Painting Reindeer Antlers With Reflective Paint To Avoid Auto Mishaps

Driving at night can be dangerous, especially when there are wild animals roaming around. It is almost impossible to spot one in your path when you’re speeding down the road before it’s too late.

While a brilliant idea in principle, the Finnish Reindeer Herders Association discovered that it was less effective in practice—but they aren't giving up. "[The antlers] piqued people's interest all over the world, and it was the best advertising yet," the association said.
