Dave Summers didn't know Maggie McGee was homeless when he first met her. After dealing with Maggie for three weeks, Dave came to the conclusion that she lacked even a cardboard box in which to hide from the elements. Dave went to work and went to a nearby hardware store and bought $500 worth of supplies. He was determined to assist this helpless woman.
